Rescue Diver

Overview

Take your diving skills to the next level with the PADI Rescue Diver course. Learn how to prevent and manage diving emergencies, assist other divers, and respond confidently to challenging situations both above and underwater.

Description

The PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to develop your confidence, awareness, and ability to respond effectively to diving emergencies. It is an important step in becoming a more capable and responsible diver, helping you learn how to recognize potential problems, prevent accidents, and assist other divers when needed. During the course, you’ll combine knowledge development with practical, hands-on training. You’ll learn how to manage different emergency situations both on the surface and underwater, while developing the skills needed to remain calm and make good decisions under pressure. What You’ll Learn: Recognizing and preventing potential diving problems Self-rescue techniques and managing stress in other divers Responding to tired, panicked, and unresponsive divers Assisting divers in distress both on the surface and underwater Emergency breathing techniques Managing diving accidents and emergency situations Basic search and rescue techniques Emergency equipment and response procedures Providing assistance while waiting for professional medical help Developing better awareness and problem-solving skills as a diver The Rescue Diver course includes realistic scenarios and practical exercises that allow you to apply your skills in a controlled and supportive environment. By the end of the course, you’ll have greater confidence in your ability to handle unexpected situations and help keep yourself and your fellow divers safer. Prerequisite: You must be at least 12 years old, have an Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification), and have completed an approved CPR and First Aid course within the previous 24 months.

Day 1: Day 1
Focus on rescue skills, emergency response techniques, self-rescue, and assisting divers in different emergency situations.

Apply your skills through realistic rescue scenarios, including assisting tired and panicked divers, responding to unresponsive divers, and managing simulated diving emergencies. Throughout both days, our instructors provide guidance and feedback to help you build the confidence and skills needed to respond effectively in an emergency.
